Ultrasound Site Supervisor – Gippsland

The Ultrasound Site Supervisor – Gippsland plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operational delivery and day-to-day management of ultrasound services across our Gippsland sites. 

This position leads a team of Sonographers to deliver exceptional clinical care to patients while fostering professional growth and development in collaboration with the Tutor Sonographer. 

As an integral part of IA, this role combines operational oversight with strong clinical leadership to uphold our commitment to excellence and premium service delivery.

The Ultrasound Site Supervisor is passionate about driving quality outcomes, mentoring staff, and implementing continual improvements that enhance patient experience and team capability. Beyond these core responsibilities, the position also encompasses:

• Creating and managing ultrasound rosters to meet operational and commercial needs.
• Maintaining RIS bookings to maximize patient access and revenue.
• Conduct onboarding for new team members.
• Liaise with clinical directors, operations managers, and educational institutions.
• Maintain licenses, manage equipment care, and ensure stock levels.
• Promote clinical excellence, manage complaints, and drive service improvements.
• Prepare reports for the board as required.
• Work closely with other modality supervisors to meet all clinical and non-clinical requirements.

• Must have an ongoing commitment to remaining well versed in current literature and best practice guidelines.
• Current registration with ASAR.
• Successful completion of an ASAR accredited diagnostic ultrasound course (or equivalent)
